Our mission is to provide comprehensive and effective counseling services to adults who are experiencing addiction to alcohol and other drugs (including, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and prescription drugs). At Advanced Health, each patient is assigned a team of therapists to plan, implement, and monitor every phase of the recovery process. Our team of credentialed treatment professionals has spent more than forty (40) years working in the substance abuse treatment community, helping people achieve and maintain sobriety in their lives.”
ere are many reasons why people develop alcohol and drug addictions. Working with so many different clients has given the treatment professionals at AHE insight to identify some common reasons that people wind up abusing alcohol and other drugs.
- Relief from the stress and pressure we feel from social expectations that we fail to meet.

- Boredom and/or desire to fit in (peer pressure).
- Use of a valid prescriptions that unintentionally develop into dependency or addiction.
Regardless of the reason why people start abusing alcohol or other drugs, when addictions develop, there comes a time that users won’t stop or can’t stop using.

Active addictions can seriously impact the body’s health. Excessive use of substances can lead to brain damage, stroke, organ failure, and heart disease.
