Inpatient and Outpatient Addiction Treatment for Young People Ages 12-25
The Hazelden Betty Ford treatment center in Plymouth, Minnesota, is our national center for youth and families. Located just west of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, our Plymouth campus is home to specialized alcohol and drug addiction rehab programs for adolescents, teenagers and young adults. Inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment programs at our center for youth and families are developmentally appropriate, personalized and evidence-based. Addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression are addressed at the same time, providing an integrated treatment approach that offers our patients the best opportunity for lasting recovery.
Specialized programs and services for adolescents, teens and young adults include screening and brief intervention, comprehensive assessment and evaluation, inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol rehab, animal-assisted programming, post-treatment planning, and family/parent education and support.
Inpatient Treatment Program
Adolescents and young adults who participate in our inpatient alcohol and drug rehab program live in comfortable and inviting gender-specific residential units and follow a full daily schedule of treatment activities. Care teams comprised of addiction counselors, mental health and medical professionals establish an individualized treatment plan for each patient continually assess the patient’s progress, and develop post-treatment recommendations.
